RE: Week 9 Rankings
It is ludicrous that Cuse is getting no respect in the Men's Pool. They are the most dangerous team offensively in the league.

We beat 2 teams this week so bad, our bench was in nearly the
entire second half.

102-58
90-53

UNC has to take Clemson to OT to get the win. And we actually lost a
vote or two. Absolutely ridiculous.

The good news is our kids love this type of stuff and would play with a
chip on their shoulder even with the #1 ranking.

I agree that Memphis should be ranked #1. They have played the toughest schedule of the top 3 or 4 teams imo, and came out still undefeated. But you know how these biased voters work, a traditional power like UNC isnt going to lose its #1 ranking until they lose a game. At least realtimerpi.com has memphis ranked #1 and sos of #13 while UNC has an sos of #24.

It's that voter bias again. North Carolina hasn't deserved several voting positions they've gotten over the years. But that's life in the theater of perception. People perceive UNC to be better than Memphis, because their grandaddy watched UNC win a national championship back in the stone age.

I agree, Memphis did an excellent job of scheduling OOC because now they basically will be invisible until March with the teams in that conference. Memphis should be #1 right now, but with the hard work they've put in so far, they should be safe until March barring some crazy in-conference upset.

Have they scheduled a OOC game for late February like they did last year to prepare them for the NCAA's? The toughest thing for Memphis is that their level of competition is lowered during conference play that they lose the intensity that they are used to/capable of playing at.

We've scheduled 2 OOC games late actually. Gonzaga at the end
of the month and the Vols next month. Neither team really gets me
hyped up, but I believe the TN game will be on ESPN's Gameday.

RE: Week 9 Rankings
I don't see Memphis losing a game this year, at least in the regular season. In the NCAAs, anything's possible, but to me they are clearly the #1 team right now.
