Stopped By The Helmet Project
I was visiting the helmet project and came up with what I think the all time best football helmets are.

The Best of the Best
USF
Virginia
Cincinnati (93-04)
The Ville (01-02)
Pitt (in the 80's)
WVU
Kansas St.
Texas
ECU (89-98)
TCU
Wyoming (81)
Arizona St.
Oregon
Washington St. (home & away)

Worst of the Worst
Penn St.
Navy
Army
Notre Dame
Memphis (88)
Tulane (81)
Buffalo (01)
CMU
Arizona (73)
Bama

All these are in no particular order. I wish I bould throw pictures of the helmets up here.

I see you don't like plain helmets. I think Michigan has some pretty cool looking helmets.

So you like the Meesheegun helmets huh? I guess if you like a helmet that looks like it's had an egg splattered on the front it's ok. 03-lmfao 05-nono

It's all a matter of opinion. Different people like different things.

How can you possibly think that USF's is the best (you listed it first) but Buffalo's is one of the worst? They're both cartoonish bull horns. One's good and one's not?

For the record, I think they both suck. I'm so glad Buffalo went back to an interlocking UB. And USF's yellow bull head looked so much better than the ridiculous thing they have now. It looks more like a Dirty Sanchez than anything else.

I actually like Michigan's helmets to. I like Michigan State's to, and I think UC's helmets now are pretty nice to.

I've always liked Colorado State's helmet better than the STL Rams

The Michigan Panthers of the USFL had some sweet helmets
