Pitt v. Dayton bball game
Dayton's taking it to Pitt right now. This is the same Dayton team that beat UL at UL, and Card nation thought it was such a disaster. But this Dayton team is good. We'll see what happens, a little under 12 min. to go--

Top of the A-10 is really good this year. They will have atleast 3 teams in the NCAA tournament. Dayton, Xavier, UMass, Rhode Island all look in right now while several Big East teams are looking bubble again. You wonder if Syracuse, Louisville, Georgetown, West Virginia, UConn, Notre Dame and Villanova will get in along with Pitt, Providence, and Marquette. 10 teams are alive, but in reality only 6 or 7 will get in.

Pitt, Georgetown, Villanova and WVU won't have much trouble getting in. I don't know anything about UConn or Notre Dame, truth be told, and Louisville is an enigma. We'll find out a little about them when the Bearcats come calling. I would not guarantee anything for A-10 teams because they have a nasty tendency to self-destruct in conference play. That being said, if there are near guarantees then it would be Dayton and possibly Xavier. Rhode Island is good, but new kind of young to the national scene.

True enough. UL needs a good win against UC to send them into the uk game in good order. I'm somewhat concerned that they could be looking ahead to uk, so they need to stay focused. That said, they can't take too seriously the fact that uk is looking terrible or they'll wind up with a humiliating loss at Rupp. Both these games are traps which could screw up their entire conference season. And post-season for that matter.

Beyond that, it's BE play all the way. It's going to be some rough sledding.

The rest of Pitt's season is going to depend on how bad the injury to Levance Fields is considering they already lost Mike Cook for the year too.

Dayton was just outside the top 25 this past week in both polls, they'll be there this coming week.
