The tee-pee and Old West motif is probably not the best idea for a graphical representation of CMU. Just what I was afraid of when we selected "Nation" over "Central"....

Feel free to post ideas ... I'm by not means the graphics guy on the Skunkworks team ... this is just to get you by until after the Holidays when they can get a crack at it ... unless you guys like what's up there.

Last time I looked, CMU wasn't located in the desert Southwest. That's more my point fellas. I have no problem with the old maroon and gold spear, etc. Should we find some clip art/*.jpg files to send their way?

I think it would be nice to incorporate the past with the present. I think it is kind of necessary to have our current logo on there; can't deny what we are. But to please those who don't like the current, let's incorporate the past...maybe the spear, or whatever else.

It will show that CMU has some pretty good tradition in its own-right.

I can't draw to save my life...however I think the font could be changed as well as the image. It's not very PC. I know some don't like our logo "C", however it is our logo and people can identify with it at least for now.

I'm sure skunk with play around with it. Thanks for all the work.
