It won't take to much for Hawaii to get to a bowl game this year with the Hawaii rule into affect again with the addition of the New Mexico Bowl which means there is a possiblity that a deserving WAC team might not go to a bowl game if Hawaii has a winning record.
However I think Nevada is better than being able to hang with people until half time. I will laugh like crazy if Boise struggles this year which I don't think they will since they do have a soft schedule.

Well Hawaii is gonna open your eyes, my fellow LaTech fan. The schedule may be tough for a 2nd place finish, but this team is out there to prove itself from last year. We return 9 of the 11 starters on offense (two guys gone was from the o-line, but shouldnt be a big dropoff) Defense returns only 6 of 11, the whole defensive line, 1 'Backer, and 2 DBs. Lucky for us we return a load of young guys who should have used last year to learn Glanville's D
As for being overrated, this is the only publication I think that's predicted Hawaii so high. Everyone else has us at 4th,5th..

Hawaii is one team you don't know what is going to happen from year to year. If thye can ever solve that mainland problem, I think they can be very dangerous but until then, I don't see them finishing better than third in the WAC.
That is the main problem with Hawaii.

I still think Hawaii will be the most overrated team next year (no offense but I don't think you are back yet). Tied for 2nd just seems a little high to me. Not much of a difference but I would atleast say 3rd.
Also noteworthy is lack of respect Tech gets.

Even Hawaii's defense is rated higher than Tech.
"The WAC title is out of the question"
That's why nobody respects CFN. It's a joke. The conference is not out of reach for anyone (save maybe Idaho or NMSU, but even they have a shot). It's just goofy to be honest with you. Our defense being ranked below Hawaii is a little ridiculous. Just because we don't return "starters" doesn't mean that we will be down (we're returning 5 or 6 guys who saw playing time every week). We'll see. Tech is coming off the best two recruiting seasons in its history. Sooner or later, the preseason mags will have to take notice.
