Libertarian Party passes unanimous resolution
Bob Barr, former Senator (R-GA), now LP member, authored a resolution regarding Ron Paul, which was unanimously passed. It:

- Stated Ron Paul is a member of good standing within the LP
- Stated Ron Paul should be commended for bringing the Liberty Movement to the forefront of the political discourse
- Asked Ron Paul to accept the LP nomination (Ron declined)
- Stated that if Ron Paul won the GOP nomination, the LP would fold its candidacy and endorse Ron Paul.

RE: Libertarian Party passes unanimous resolution
The resolution posted on the Libertarian Party website does not offer the LP nomination to Paul, it merely urges him to run for the nomination at the national convention next spring if he is not selected as the Republican nominee (though it is likely he would win). There is also nothing in it regarding the LP not running a candidate if Paul gets the Republican nomination.

The Libertarian Party has, however, committed to helping the Paul campaing in New Hampshire through some voter outreach efforts.
