That would be true for UCF, because they did not beat anybody at all. But USF beat 2 ranked teams in Auburn and WV. Two of the 3 teams that they lost to are ranked in the final bcs and a 3rd is going bowling, and they did not lose to any non bcs teams. Their resume is much better than UCF.

South Florida definitely deserves to be ranked. Beating Auburn on the road and WVU at home, coupled with 9 wins, is absolutely worthy.

wow, just because you finally realized your team sucks, doesn't mean you have to drag us down to your level

South Tampa Knight Wrote:The coaches poll is a waste, the coach for Western Michigan had Tulsa #25 this week and did not rank UCF. Sad thing is, UCF has beaten Tulsa twice this year.
Oh and he is an ex UCF coach that was fired. No wonder where that came from.
Also it works both ways, just look at where the Big East coaches put a team like UCONN.
Right, right. UConn would probably beat UCF with little trouble. I'll admit we'd lose if we brung or WVU or Temple effort-but gimme a break.
Texas stinks this year-they could not even beat a sorry Texas A&M squad-so do not bring up your "amazing" moral victory against them. We beat the same team that whipped you guys 64-12. [/color]

Ever heard of "Credit where Credit is due", Goodknight? Despite your dislike for USF, it deserves to be ranked, and in the Top 20, too.

We are getting ready to play an SEC team, so we will see. It is pretty clear the SEC is on another level.
That SEC "powerhouse" you will be playing in the Liberty was down 31-0 to WVU 6 seconds into the 2nd quarter earlier this season.
--
"I know they have tremendous speed and at times, we couldn't match their speed," Croom said.
Yet that same power house team did the exact thing USF did, which was beat Auburn, USF's best win of the year.
As for Sagarin, please, those rankings are crap. Do you really think that WVU would beat USC, hell they have a 9-3 Virginia team ranked six spots behind a 9-3 UCONN team they beat.
But hey, lets have fun with this bowl season, we shall see how the big east stacks up against the other conference. Sagarin ratings won't help you on the field.
Also, enough of the UCONN stuff, if not for a blown call admitted by the officials, UCONN would have lost to Temple. WE also know that UCONN lost to UL as well.

If you go by ranking then West Virginia was a BIGGER win than Auburn.

RE: Article about Bulls lack of respect in coaches poll (c-doa)
That attack on the WAC by Fanblogs is ridiculous. Hawaii was undervoted by the Coaches Poll all year long and I do not blame WAC coaches one bit if they wanted to try to keep their conference champions from getting screwed by the BCS. There is no way to prove how good an undefeated Hawaii is, since they do not get a shot at the title, so I would not even think twice about it if the WAC coaches has voted them #1. That goes even moreso for last year's Boise State team.
As for accusing Big East coaches of being homers, please, it has obviously been the opposite. Big East teams also get undervoted by the Coaches Poll and, if anything, I think our coaches who have votes absolutely need to start homering things up in order to even out the unfair bias against us. There is also no basis for anyone to whine about Connecticut getting Top 25 votes. A 9-3 record and a conference co-championship is more than Auburn or Arkansas accomplished.
