Grayson Flittner
How is Grayson doing this year? Watched him in the UConn game a little. Got beat on defense a few times.

His high school teamate, Kurt Cunningham plays for Boise State....

RE: Grayson Flittner
Broncobob is a regular on the Boise State basketball messageboard. Flittner has been a topic of many discussions on that board especially of late. Flittner's good friend and high school teamate was a year ahead of Flittner and plays for Boise State. Flittner shows a lot of interest in going to Boise State and the coaches did not want him but many Boise State fans followed Flittner's whole senior year and wanted him very much and made that known on their messageboard. There are basically 2 groups of people on the boise state messageboard, those who followed Flittner in high school online and so on when they heard he was wanting to go there and those who hate the two words Grayson Flittner being brought up because they are tired of the other BSU fans saying how much they wish they had Flittner. Broncobob is one of the people who hates hearing Flittner's name all the time on the Boise State messageboard broncocountry.com. That is the reason for his very weird comment. He just wanted to say something negative on Flittner.

If Im correct Flittner was Atlantic Sun Player of the Week this week and also on the 2K Sports Coaches vs Cancer All-Tournament this last week. He leads the nation in 3's and is averaging 19.3 pts/game for a team that looks ready to challenge for an A-Sun championship. You can see why Broncobob is trying to look for anything he can negative on Flittner. I would imagine it's gonna be pretty hard to find anyone in Boiling Springs to drink the punch on that though Broncobob. As a member of Grayson and Kurt (Boise State player) hometown I am a member of both boards and follow them both closley. As someone who is a member of the Boise State messageboard Im sorry Broncobob lacks class.

Double Standard???

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice. I like the no talk of Grayson Flittner rule on here for people who want to say positive things but this is what broncobob takes the time to sign up for on a Gardner-Webb forum...

Classy. That was his post. He started a new topic to post that titled Grayson Flittner. Oh also BroncoBob he was Atlantic Sun Player of the Week this week while also being a member of the 2K sports Coaches vs Cancer All-Tournament Team. He leads the nation in 3's and is averaging 19.3 points per game.

I have never gotten on here and had anything but positive things to say and I have supported and still support Broncos basketball. Great job on going out of your way to sign up for and post a negative comment on a gwu messageboard. I pray Kurt is in better hands then that. I just wanted to bring that to all of the BroncoCountry fans who are great basketball fans as well as fans of kids who work their butt off.

I don't know you BroncoBob but I would hope your better then that.

You actually thought I was picking on Grayson????
You read an awful lot into that brief post.

Go back over the last 2 years and read my posts about Grayson.
Always positive. I wish him the best. I think he is a fine young man with a lot of potential.

Indy, the problem with message forums is that you can't see the smile or the smirk behind the message......

Like I said in the post above....I have nothing but respect for Grayson.

I am a mod on BroncoCountry.com, but I did not make the decision not to discuss Grayson Flittner on their basketball forum.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

I was just trying to get some discussion going.

Not only do I think Grayson is a great player.....I also think he can play probasketball after his college career....

P.S. Indy, I did not delete the thread you started on BroncoCountry, but it was deleted during my response.

At least you can read it here.

Also if you would like to keep me updated on Grayson on this forum, I would appreciate it....

I don't think I've ever seen this kind of board hijack before... message hijacking, sure... almost every post but board hi-jacking. That's a first.

Yea does anyone know if there is another active Gardner-Webb board? I mean hell Paul Porter had a nice crowd tonight (of course quite a few from Gaffney because AZ Reid went to HS there) but there are plenty of GW fans for an active board.

BTW, Grayson played great tonight, he was active on defense and was hitting his shot. The player of the night was Matt French though. I don't think he played any in the 1st half, but Rick put him in the 2nd half and he shut down AZ and made quite a few nice passes to Lou and scored himself quite a few times, Including a 3!
