NCAA Passing Efficiency Record -- Now owned by the WAC
Just in case you missed it...
...Colt Brennan broke Shawn King's Passing Efficiency Record set back in 1999 with a rating of 185.96.
The previous NCAA record was 183.3.
Tough year for C-USA so far. Not doing so well in the Bowl season...and their NCAA records are falling to the WAC.
-------
Side note: Colt Brennan is 28 TD passes away from breaking Ty Detmer's career TD passing mark of 121.
We'll see what happens next year...

You mean . . . in the NFL during his rookie season after he declares for the draft in March?

If Colt "doesn't" come back, he will have left a lot of hardware on the table...that he'll never have the opportunity to gain again.
The biggest would be the Heisman Trophy. Their are quite a few people whom think he's the front-runner for the prize.
I think once he weighs everything...he'll be back.
Plus, he only loses one starting receiver to graduation this year. The back-up receiver could end up being the best receiver in UH history once it's all said and done. If he's not, at least we know that he was the fastest player on the roster as an 18 year old true freshman.
Colt needs to come back.
