its saliva.....great guys, but never the epitome of musician/artist. they make good, fun tunes. there is no selling out from that. it is what it is.

record sales very rarely account for much money for an artist....im sure they've made a chuck from their publishing sales(video games, movies, commericals, etc) depending on how good of a deal they struck when they first signed. also, they've always toured pretty well. most artists make most of their money from their shows anyway.

also, are they still on their original contract with island? having some knowledge of other deals(not saliva's in particular) island/def jam was giving at the time for starting artists, it isnt the best of terms even for the crooked music industry.
