Congrats to WVU
Great game on beating UCONN. The difference of the game is simple: WVU has Pat White and UCONN does not.

I always said Pat White is one of the best college players out there and he clearly is the difference maker for WVU.

Congrats and now bring home the national championship trophy.

Pat White was the whole difference?

How about how bad you got killed by Devine? How about how you didn't score in the 2nd half?

There were a lot of differences in the game, Pat White was only 1 of them.

Don't you have a game to watch other than your obsession with UCONN bashing? Just don't go and lose to Cuse today.

No obsession... just can't believe you think that UConn is better than Cincinnati. 27-3 is all you need to remember... and I think you know that UC's win wasn't some sort of fluke win. It was just a beat down, although at a smaller level than what WVU did to UConn today.

I also can't believe that you think that the only difference in your game today was Pat White.

Point to me one place where I said UCONN is better than Cincy. I have said there is little difference between UCONN, Cincy and USF this year. You can even throw RU into that mix. Anyone can beat anyone else in that group. I also have said Repeatedly WVU is the best team in the league. Go back and look at all of my weekly rankings.

You are the joker who is obessed with UCONN bashing. Seriously, WVU could have blown the doors off UC last week if not for all the turnovers. They did not turn the ball over today against UCONN. UCONN went toe to toe with WVU in the 1st half and just forgot to show up for the 2nd. Pat White is the DIFFERENCE in the game. If you don't think so, you need to check your eyes.

5th my butt. UCONN is the 2nd best team in the BE even if we lose today. We might have lost to Cincy at your home but we sure did not lose to UL or Pitt.

By the way, WVU did have a turnover today. Also, like I said, Pat White was among the differences, but there were a lot of differences between WVU and UConn today. If you couldn't see that, then you are blind. 66-14 does not mean you were 1 player away from being equal to them.

Of course there are other differences. Pat White is the main difference. Don't come around chirping because WVU beat UCONN today. I never expected UCONN to win nor did any UCONN fans. WVU would have done the same to Cincy today in Morgan town. There is no doubt in my mind when WVU is playing their A game, no one in the country can stop them.

We finished 9-3. 2nd in the BE for a team that was expected to finish 7th in the conference. I would say that's not so bad. I picked UCONN to go 8-4 and we went 9-3. I am proud of this team.

We had an awesome season. There is nothing you say that will change that.

And no, Cincy is not a notch above UCONN in any shape or form. That includes the football team, football program, fan support, facilities or anything else. WVU is better than UCONN in football, but Cincy is not.

RE: Congrats to WVU
Ok... lets go through this.

1. UConn's facilities are NOT better than Cincinnati. You have a nice stadium, yes. However, there is no history there. Outside of the stadium's the two schools have comparible facilities, UC just completed a $100M upgrade of all of theirs.

2. I'm not ripping your achievements this year, UConn had a great season. All I have stated is that UConn is not the 2nd best team in the Big East. You seem to disagree.

3. UC's football team has never lost to UConn... 4-0 if I remember correctly (3-0 as conference mates). UC went in to Storrs and won last year, UC hammered UConn the last two times UConn played at Nippert. Not that 4 games is a lot, but once you guys win a game come back and talk.

4. UConn probably does have better fan support... it helps that UConn has been in the Big East for years (playing basketball against lots of historical powers helps quite a bit). However, UC seems to be building its fan base nicely now, there is no denying that.

Good luck in your bowl game, which IMO is most likely going to be the Pizza Bowl or International Bowl.

Spin it however you want, but you are not better than us in anything period. I see ESPN guys go on and on about UCONN's football facilities. I hear people keep saying UC wants to build a football practice facility. IF that's the case, UCONN's is better than UC's.

As for 2nd best in the BE, where teams are all pretty close but UCONN is the 2nd BE in conference standings so that makes us the 2nd best BE teams whether you want to admit it or not. You are ranked 3rd along with USF, so you are 3rd.

As for your football wins, congrats. Lots of programs can say about multiple wins against UCONN. Big freaking deal. We are still building our program. If we have been playing D1A football for 100 years, I think I would expect more than what Cincy has achieved today. In our 5 years of D1A, we are already same level football team wise. I would say future is bright for us and we just got started. Just make sure you hold on to your coach and don't lose to Cuse today.

I agree with the UC poster Pat white didn't hold Uconn to 14 points. Out of the 66 points Pat White only scored 21 The rest was Slaton(twice) Devine Collington Sanders and Reynaud. All those guys sure as heck aren't Pat White. Your comment was really a backhanded compliment to WVU its as if they are a one man team when they really are not. If I'm not mistaken Jarred Brown carried the ball 3 times and got 60 yards avg of 20 yards per play.Just say WVU was the better team admit defeat and leave it at that.

I have been saying WVU is the better team the entire season, so what is your point? UCONN is not the better team than WVU, but we have came a long way since beginning of the season.

UCONN D did not show up in the 2nd half. They gave up so I am not sure what part of it that's not clear. Garbage points mean nothing. WVU is fast. They are a great team that should win the national championship. But let's not kid ourselves, Pat White is the MVP of that team.

Also, the way WVU played today they would have blew out most of the teams in the country and that included Cincy.

UConn scored 21 and should have scored a lot more, had it not been for ridiculous mistakes inside their half of the field.

-- Thank you for the kind words friend, but this WVU team is a more then Pat White. Without Slaton's presence, White's running would not be nearly as effective. Its the O-Line which is really coming together as the season goes on. Its a much improved defense. Its Pat McAfee who boots 50 yard field goals and 60+plus yard punts.

Pat had a lot to do with the win tonight, but so did a bunch of other players

Kudos to UCONN for an amazing season. I hope you guys do the BE proud in your bowl game! I would think Edsall's got to be a contender for coach of the year.

UConn was very much in the game in the first half. In fact without their two turnovers it would have been real close at halftme. I'd say some of the big WVU runs really took them out of their game. You could see their heads down after that and the effort went down.

Great atmosphere at the game. I was nice seeing the WVU players on the field celebrating after the game.
