Stop the madness
Another highly talented WMU hockey team... done in by a coach that has had plenty of years to prove he's a nothing in this league. At the very best he could be an interim coach for a lowly team that just lost its coach to retirement with a few games to go... this guy has had plenty of time... and has cashed in on too many benefit of the doubt respones to be given ANY CONTRACT EXTENSION.... how the heck does one pull this off?

I need to figure out his secret... then maybe I can sit at home eating cheesy poofs all day on my couch while consistently getting pay raises...

Don't get me wrong... its a tough job, but who's arguing that? I don't care how tough your job is... if you can't do it well... you should be replaced... end of story. Success is marked in this position by wins.... not graduation rates... im sorry... you can go teach a class in the history department if your ONLY concern is education. These kids came here to play hockey.... this University expects this team to be competitive, and the students need (as enforced by the university) to pass their classes... Hiding behind recruiting classes and graduation rates is just plain not cuttin' the mustard with this fan any longer.

RE: Stop the madness
I can't say I'm in disagreement. Watch this weekend as the Broncos take on Ohio St., a team that won its first two games and haven't won since. The Buckeyes are 0-9-1 in their last ten games, 2-9-1 overall, 0-6 CCHA.

These are the kinds of games the Broncos stumble on that they should win. Yet, I can almost predict that we will lose one if not both of them. I hope I am wrong. I wish I couldn't predict this with near certainty but we've seen it too many times.

What do I know? I'm just an alum and a fan. You don't need to be an expert to predict the outcome of this series. It's a pattern that we've seen all too often.

C'mon Broncos. Prove me wrong.

We better grab 4 points out of this weekend or I'm firing off another one of my trusty letters to Kathy B.. And it won't be as polite as the one I sent to the MAC commissioners office-which was NEVER answered, by the way.

Broncos lose 0-3 to OSU on Saturday night. I'm warming up my keyboard, Kathy.

4 more years of this chit to look forward to. Incredible.03-hissyfit

Who was the coach in the late 80's/early 90's?
