I assume most, if not all of you, saw the Browns game in Baltimore yesterday. But, did you realize Josh Cribbs amassed 306 return yards on the day. He returned 7 KO's for 245 yards and 4 punts for 61 yards. Not only that, but as usual, he covered kicks as well. He had two tackles and a forced fumble in the 33 - 30 OT Win.

So on the season, that's 45 KO returns for 1475 yards and 2 TD's, and 16 PT returns for 179 yards. Oh yeah, and he has more tackles on special teams over the course of the last three years than any other member of the Browns.

Congrats Josh!04-bow

RE: Cribbs Shines
He probably won't make the Pro Bowl as the Jets KR has 4 TDs, but he certainly deserves it. His performance yesterday was great and last week they should have beaten Pitt. as he had another awesome day.

Someone mentioned it to me yesterday and i really hadn't given much thought to it before but i'm intrigued. Could Cribbs play RB in the NFL? My gut tells me no as he's too upright of a runner but i hate to doubt the kid.

He is an unbelievable athlete. Not only with the returns but he probably also gets about 50% of the special teams tackles.

RE: Cribbs Shines
The other day on Mike & Mike, Mark Scherleth called him the best special teams player in the league and questioned why they still kicked to him. Today they showed him again and said it will be a tight race between him and Washington for the Pro Bowl. I stand corrected on their TDs, Cribbs has 2 and Washington has 3. Considering he does a great job on coverage maybe they could pick Washington to the returner position and Josh to the special teams position.

Kick Returns:
Washington 25-827 (33.5 average) 3 TDs (21 for 20+ yards/4 for 40+ yards)
Cribbs 38-1230 (32.4 average) 2 TDs (30 for 20+ yards/5 for 40+ yards)

Punt Returns:
Washington 9-59 (6.56 average) 8 fair catches
Cribbs 12-118 (9.83 average) 4 fair catches
