WAC Baseball question.
Is anybody ready for baseball season to start? I am looking forward to it.

How many baseball teams does the WAC have? I think on the NCAA Baseball game I saw we have 7 teams. Hawaii, NMSU, La Tech, Fresno State, San Jose State, Nevada, and Sacremento State.

I thought we had 8. Wasn't San Diego in it too?

Does the winner of the WAC tournament get the autobid? Have we had enough schools play together for a certain number of years or whatever the requirements are?

Darn right! Fresno St opens the season on Friday at Cal Poly, so it's here...ready or not!

There are 7 teams (no San Diego).

If you're asking whether the WAC has an auto-bid, the answer is yes. And yes, I believe it will go to the tournament winner (this is the first year the WAC has had a conference tournament).

Fresno St is the preseason favorite (followed by Hawai'i), but IMO anyone could step up and win it (perhaps excluding La Tech and Sacramento St).
