We scored 58 points in the second half alone.

Of course, we did allow 51.

yes Reitz did...they showed him getting his plaque, and he looked pissed that they lost..

The announcers interviewed Ernie Kent, and he said about Reitz "That big guy was a load down there". Gotta love that Joe!!!

I like Oregon.

The state, that is. I've got family out there now... and it's a rather beautiful place. Oh, and especially the football team when they beat scUM.

Go Broncos!

I find it interesting that as big as Oregon is, we outrebounded them 35 - 31. I hope we can continue to shine in that category.

I bet Oregon had less than 15 second half FGAs. All their possessions resulted in free throw attempts.

hahaha...

You keep cheering for Oakland, they will continue to grow. That will muster up a football team, and they will join the MAC and dominate us. They will be the USF of Michigan...

What is amazing about the rebounding stat is that Joe only had 2. Drews had 6 to lead the team.

Wow that's crazy. The box score on Yahoo only has basic offensive stats, so I had no idea what the defensive stats looked like. Makes outrebounding the #11 team in the country even more impressive.

Alright, I have to be at work in 7 hours... time to go to bed... hopefully this is a great stepping stone for our boys this season!

I didn't listen to the radio because it's too frustrating. So I just followed this board all night. Most definitely worth staying up for. Can't wait for the home games.

Hawk said he thinks this team found their identity in the second half, and he can't wait to see how they come out and play against Loyola. He said the team last year didnt find their identity until the last half or later in the season, and he thinks this team did in the third game of the year. He is excited to get back to the midwest and see what this team can do.

Yup and he said that we are going to go back and play tough, physical Bronco basketball and defend the way we defend. He said if we all foul out, so be it.

I interpret that to mean he truly believes that the styles are so different in the midwest and on the west coast and the midwest refs are going to call things differently and allow much more physical contact.
