Thanks a lot. I think that's our biggest win ever in basketball.

CBS Sportsline has a "Beware the Atlantic Sun" feature on their front page. It's a box to the right of the main picture (currently a picture of Illinois football).

CONGRATULATIONS to the A-Sun. In the last 18 months, I lived in both Atlanta & Jacksonville. I went to four Kennesaw State games (love that arena -- looks quite new) and enjoyed it. Then two JU games and 7 UNF ones -- so it was great to see the results that happened.

Sportscenter just ran a great clip on the Atlantic Sun w/ Mercer highlights afterwards. They said something like "Whoever has to play the A-Sun champion better watch out". Just great exposure for our league.
And thanks MemTGRS. Glad you've enjoyed some A Sun games.

And we dropped the ball today guys... Hopefully we'll get it back with Syracuse or OK State. I'm starting to believe now.

We did need a little faith in our conference. These victories are extremely helpful for everyone. I think that's the reason for the OOC support of the teams. It puts us in the conversation and that benefits everyone.

Quote:Wildcats, Trojans fall from Top 25 following upset losses
ESPN.com news services
Updated: November 12, 2007, 1:36 PM ET
Kentucky and USC found out what losses to Gardner-Webb and Mercer, respectively, can do to a Top 25 program. Namely, knock it out of the Top 25.
The Wildcats and Trojans fell to the ranks of "others receiving votes" in the second ESPN/USA Today coaches poll of the season, with the Wildcats plummeting from No. 22 to receiving just one vote -- as many as Mercer -- and USC dropping from No. 18 to the ranks of the unranked.
Gardner-Webb beat Kentucky by 16 at Rupp Arena last week, while Mercer withstood 30 points from O.J. Mayo to beat USC by 15 in Los Angeles.
Kansas State (2-0) entered the poll at No. 24, while Syracuse joined at No. 25 despite having yet to play a game. The Orange are scheduled to host Siena on Monday night.
Kansas State propelled itself into the rankings behind the play of freshman forward Michael Beasley, who's had consecutive double-doubles to start his career. In his debut, he had 32 points and a Big 12 Conference-record 24 rebounds in a victory over Sacramento State.
The top 7 remained unchaged, with North Carolina, UCLA, Memphis, Kansas, Georgetown, Louisville and Tennessee all holding steady. Indiana, Washington State and Duke rounded out the top 10.
