The brothers lost to Ensworth tonight 34-27. CBHS had the ball with a little over two minutes to go and 1 time out and Locastro only give Eric Watson the ball 1 time on a swing pass. After that Watson didn't touch the ball. I don't know what Locastro was thinking, but it's mind boggling how you don't give your best player the ball in the closing minutes of a game. Another dissapointing end to another good season for the Brothers. I don't know what it is with Locastro, but he can never seem to win when it counts. In 2003 CBHS had probably the best team in the history of the school and Locastro couldn't get them past Brentwood Academy in the semifinals of the playoffs. This is the second game locastro has made a bone head decision at the end of the game.

I was at the game. The Brothers were 65 yards from paydirt with 2 minutes left and no timeouts,can't stop the clock and you want Locastro to instruct his QB to hand off to a running back. Riiiight.

He had 1 timeout left after they stopped them on defense. The first play was a swing pass to watson for about 3 yards and watson got out. Then 3 straight incomplete passes. When you could have handed the ball to watson at least 2 times and watson was busting big runs most of the night. He's your best player and you don't get the ball in his hands thats not smart coaching. Everybody after the game was wondering the same thing as I was walking out how in the world do you not get the ball in Watson's hand.

I mean if it was a minute or less then I understand not running. But there are college teams that would run the ball with 2 minutes to go and 1 timeout.
