WEEK 10 / Big East Lines and Predictions
A couple big games this week!

Rutgers
UCONN - 3

Yeah, the Huskies have been winning close, ugly games - but they've been WINNING. Rutgers looked out of sorts against WVU this week, and they are going into a tough road environment against a team looking to make a statement. I like UCONN in a close one. UCONN 20, Rutgers 17

UC
USF -6

South Florida has dropped 2 straight road games against good teams, and are looking to regroup. The wheels have fallen off the Bearcats a little with losses to UL and Pitt, but a win over the Bulls puts them right back in the picture. I don't see it happening. The Bulls are a different team at home, and I think they get some momentum back on their side in a big way. USF 31, UC 20

SU
Pitt - 12

The Panthers have shown moments of promise this year - the close loss at Michigan State, the offensive explosion against Navy, the win over UC - but they haven't been consistent. They've also shown moments of pure awfulness. They should be able to handle the Orange quite easily, but given the Panthers inability to play well on a consistent basis nothing is guaranteed. Pitt 34, SU 31

I would not exactly say "the wheels have fallen off". Losing to UofL at home was nothing to be ashamed about. Losing to Pitt is another story. Both were very disappointing, and take away a fumble or 2 and UC wins both of them.

USF's wheels are losing a little air as well.

Also, UC did win at Rutgers where USF lost to them.

UC has had an extra week to prepare for this game and is itching to get back at it.

UC 24-20

Pitt and UConn will win.

As much as I hate to see it, I see USF beating UC this weekend. The Bulls are not going to lose 3 in a row!

You just want to see UC lose, BuckeyeBob.

I think it's a pity the Buckeyes didn't play UC this year. Last year the Bearcats hung with the mighty Buckeyes for 3 quarters before they ran out of gas. The overrated ones from the Big 10 might just lose this year. They haven't really played anyone, and won't with a really weak Big 10 schedule.

I fully expect someone to deflate OSU in the BCS game again this year. 05-mafia

The extra week helps Cincy and both teams need the win but USF plays completely different at home. It will be a tough one but I think the Bulls will feed of fthe crowd specially the student body and win a close game.
The USF -Cincy series has laways favored the home team in all four matches.

No doubt OSU is overrated. That victory over PSU means nothing. PSU sucks. I hope WVU will end up playing OSU for the title. I really think White and Slaton would run all over OSU.

USF over UC - 31-17
UCONN over RU - 27-17
Pitt over CUSE - 31 - 24

Should be bunch of good games, especially between RU and UCONN. My only wish is it is on ESPN vs. ESPNU.

Rutger takes out UCONN...yup, it's going to happen. Rice runs all over UCONN and takes RU to victory with him.

UC will take out USF.....I know USF is tough at home but I just have a feeling about this one. I believe the extra week UC has had to regroup and prepare will be the difference and offset the home advantage of the RayJay. I think UC is going to put it all together and shock USF.

Pitt over Cuse....
