Thank god computers are not as bias as humans. SEC teams are not ranked like they are in human polls.

BE can't complain about that.

How does 13 sound for a little respect UConn?

Human polls give us no respect. Computer polls love UCONN. Computers don't care about what's in front of the jerseys much other than actual results.

We still got quite a few weeks so we will see how it all plays out. Too bad it will be tough for the BE to get 2 BCS bids but anything is possible.

BE got much more respect in the BCS poll (thanks computers) than the human polls.

RE: BCS Poll Week 3
In the human polls, if Kansas wins again, the Mountaineers will lose another place in the polls. However, with Arizona State and Oregon facing each other, we should gain a spot. This will leave us in the same place by not playing. This year, win or lose WVU lost ground in the polls.

Yea right. They really respect The BEast. 07-coffee3

In answer to LaRue's question, the BCS rankings are 50% computer and 50% human, so, in terms of COMPLETE satisfaction, I'd say no.

RE: BCS Poll Week 3
Things could always be better but 3 places out of 18 with only a 8 team conference is not too shabby.

Late comer Connecticut going from unranked to 13 in 2 weeks is pretty impressive.

USF still being 18 after two straight losses shows some respect.

I'm sure the BE's small size hurts with the human polls. You are going to have more of your conferences coach's voting in the poll from the larger conferences. I sure the media is also weighted towards the bigger conferences. What ends up happening is that we get 7 teams from the SEC. There probably is no solution.

It's 2/3 humans and 1/3 computers.

Coaches poll, Harris poll are 1/3 each and the computers combined count for 1/3.

Thanks Zibby... I actually think that further proves my point.
