Maybe you can take your frustrations out on the boards that you have the problem with. That would be a good idea.03-idea
BTW, Congratulations on a very, very solid win over USF. It was a very exciting game. I enjoyed it, even though I was rooting for USF, because they were the team that had the best ooc wins.

I think most UCONN fans spend their time defending ourselves when we should be enjoying our wins. For the record, most BE fans on this board are awesome in that most of us are pretty fair.

Anyway, I guess we just have to win the big bowl game to get some respect. In many ways, our season this year is not much different than what RU went through last year. I think it is great for the Northeast to get RU, UCONN and CUSE up to be good teams again.

Truth!

If you go out on the boards looking for others causing trouble they will be easy to find. Your wasting words writing responses to many of them. Logic won't work.

Well I got news for rest of the BE, next year's UCONN team will be even better than this year's version since we only graduate 4 out of 22.

I hope everyone keep doubting us and think they gonna blow us out.

Pitt fans said they gonna blow us out..
UL fans said they gonna smoke us...
USF fans (only a few) came over and said they would blow us out 49-10..
RU fans next?

Let's see how we do against RU next week. Most Eers fan think RU gonna stump us. It will be pretty funny after that game.

Somebody's getting a big head. We don't feel sorry for you, trust me. Cincinnati and South Florida went through the same thing you guys are going through, people doubting us. That's why we didn't do anything silly like call out the whole freaking Big East conference like you just did in your thread. For the record, a number of teams in the Big East will be better. Cincinnati is just like Connecticut, young, not blessed with a ton of big names, just plugging along, working hard, and busting our butts.

Another optimist. I love seeing them coming when it comes time to place the bets. 03-lmfao

I've never his the fact that I wasn't sure about UConn. But I have no idea where Husky fans get their persecution complex. It's funny.

I for one am glad to see UConn have a good season. I hope it continues. They could build a football program that is a match to their basketball programs. The only variable is time.

I guess UConn fans think their time is now. We'll see when they come to Morgantown. 07-coffee3

RE: Maturation of UCONN
Had UCONN been able to beat the same UVA team that NC State just whipped, then there would probably be very little doubt the Huskies are legit.

Hopefully UCONN, along w/ the rest of the BE, will come thru in a big way come bowl season.

I don't think any UCONN fan is getting a big head. We are enjoying our season. I just wish people would give the team some credit vs. keep calling UCONN cheaters, got lucky or whatever.

For the record, I think UCONN can win the next 3 games but we can also lose the next 3. I don't expect UCONN to beat WVU so if we did that, it would be a huge upset.

It would be a huge upset. Bigger than the USF game, since the Bulls had done it last year. If the Huskies manage that, they'll deserve the BCS bid.

They aren't going to get it. But it's a nice dream, isn't it? 04-cheers

Got to start somewhere. This is why they play the games. We just don't know what will happen. It should be a huge game at end of the season if UCONN vs. WVU is for all the marbles.

If UConn manages to win out prior to the game, it should get one heck of a TV rating. Everyone wants to see Cinderella get to the Ball. It makes people sit up and notice.

Looks like this is UConn's breakthrough year. Now if just Pitt and Cuse got things going... this conference will be the new SEC and without all the scandals and cheating.

Let's just take it one game at a time and not get swollen heads, Husky fans. Forget about trying to bust our butts trying to justify our wins/record to other fans. Let the results speak for themselves. It's nice to speculate on how far we could go but all I'm worried about right now is Rutgers - that should be another slugfest. 04-rock

Remember, we've only played 3 conference games and still have 4 more. Lots of football to play yet.

Granted, it's been an exciting ride so far! 04-cheers
