The last eight games are getting picked up Time Warner Cable in Upstate NY. They can be seen from Buffalo to Albany and down to the southern tier. Not sure yet if these 8 games will be offered to ESPN Full Court.

Now that's non-conf lineup that can get you in NCAA tourn. If you miss again, don't cry ask Bohiem WTH doing.

Does Buffalo have Adelphia, and not Time Warner? I thought that the games are also shown in Buffalo, I was sure of it.

Just out of curiosity, what is down to southern tier? I know Albany, of course, and the only city south of Albany is NYC. So I am confused by the term "southern tier."

The Southern Tier to an Upstate NYer is the area from Jamestown to Binghamton...the border with Pennsylvania.

They said Buffalo was getting the games...two Niagara Falls products on the team

We don't have that channel that TW set up to show Syracuse and other upstate sports. We also don't have the Big East GotW. The channel that used to show it now shows the MAC GotW. What's especially galling about that is that they haven't showed the University at Buffalo in about four years.

So instead of watching Syracuse, West Virginia and Rutgers, we get to watch Eastern Michigan, Ball State and Ohio.

The drawback of an 18 game conf. schedule - fewer ooc games. Trip to UVA will be a nice one, and games with UMass, URI, Fordham and such will be good fodder for maintaining the program's image within the region. Probably more important this year than in years past.

Something to be said about finishing the deal and maintaining form throughout the season, moreso than ooc schedule. What killed Cuse last year was, IMO, inconsistency in offense and closing out close games that they could've won. (@ SJU, Drexel, WSU...) Orange also went 0-2 against ND giving up a combined 192 points!!! Big Dance or not, those aren't signs of a great team.

Why is OK for an SEC football team to play a bunch of SunBelt and FCS teams at home for their OOC, but Syracuse basketball can't play most of their OOC games at home?

Will the top NC ACC teams get blasted when they play the first four rounds of the NCAA within North Carolina this year? The media won't say much about that little scheduling quirk.

In 2003 the Cuse played in Albany and Boston and everyone thought it was so unfair.

I didn't hear anyone say it was unfair that Michigan State got to play in Detroit in 2000. That was ridiculous. Even the floor was painted green. But it was unfair SU got to play in Boston? Asinine. Just asinine.
