West Virginia 2-1 7-1 UofL, @UC, UConn, Pitt
Rutgers 2-2 5-3 @UConn, @Army, Pitt, @ UofL
Louisville 2-2 5-4 @WVU, @USF, Rutgers
Cincinnati 1-2 6-2 @USF, UConn, WVU, @Syracuse
South Florida 1-2 6-2 UC, @Syracuse, UofL, @Pitt
Pittsburgh 1-2 3-5 Syracuse, @Rutgers, USF, WVU

Rutgers won't tie for first. That place belongs to West Virginia! 05-mafia

If UConn can win out, the game in Morgantown will be for all the marbles in The BEast! 04-rock

RE: Big East standings, remaining games
Four teams are bowl eligible. Louisville needs one win with WVU, UC, USf and Rutgers on the schedule. GOod Luck with that.
If USF can get past UC, it looks like the hardest part of their season is over. After UConn, Rutgers should run the table.

I think the BE could have used another Syracuse or two this year. We may have gotten too tough too fast for our own good. But it's all Good. But I bet Temple is looking pretty good right about now to BE administrators. After all most conferences are two team conferences. Last time I checked the BE was the #2 conference.

IMHO so far, biggest UGH! of the season; Rutgers at Maryland/ UCONN at UVA. (and everything Syracuse)
Biggest cheer of the season. USF at Auburn.

dont get too cocky my friend if you know anything about the BE is that its tough. I could easily see WVU losing a game to UL cincy and surprisingly UC. One loss to any of those teams and the big East championship is still split a million ways. As for Uconn if they lose to either RU UC and WVu then once again we would have a million 5-2 teams.

RE: Big East standings, remaining games
Let me take a stab at predicting the rest of the season.

6-1 / 11-1 ... West Virginia will beat Louisville, Cincinnati, Connecticut, and Pittsburgh.

5-2 / 10-2 ... South Florida will beat Cincinnati, Syracuse, Louisville, and Pittsburgh.

4-3 / 8-4 ... Rutgers will beat Connecticut, Army, and Pittsburgh before losing to Louisville.

4-3 / 8-4 ... Connecticut will lose to Rutgers and Cincinnati, beat Syracuse, and lose to West Virginia.

3-4 / 6-6 ... Louisville will lose to West Virginia and South Florida before beating Rutgers.

3-4 / 8-4 ... Cincinnati will lose to South Florida, beat Connecticut, lose to West Virginia, and beat Syracuse.

2-5 / 3-9 ... Syracuse will beat Pittsburgh before losing to South Florida, Connecticut, and Cincinnati.

1-6 / 3-9 ... Pittsburgh will lose to Syracuse, Rutgers, South Florida, and West Virginia.

Now watch crazy things happen and prove me so wrong.

I think Louisville will lose the remaining 3 games. I think USF loses to Cincy. As far as Rutgers goes, a lot will depend on Teel's thumb.

WVU will win out. Bet on it. 05-mafia

The Mountaineers are still the best team in the conference. The rest of the conference is catching up. But nobody can climb the mountain like a Mountaineer. 04-rock

UCONN will beat RU.

UCONN 27 RU 17 next week

RENT will be rocking. UCONN fans are finally coming around on the football team and they are now packing the stadium and staying all the way until the game is over. Also, UCONN fans are getting very loud for each game. RENT is becoming a tough place for visitors.

Rutgers might lose another game or 2. But I expect them to win out if they win at UConn. There's the rub.

I'm still not sure about UConn. They've got a good defense. But the offense needs a couple puzzle pieces. We'll see soon.

Brick, appreciate your confidence in us 04-bow Both these teams have lost twice in a row and desperately need to get their seasons back on track. I'm looking for a war, and quite possibly, one of the better games of the week, in any league. Going to Tampa, our hands are definitley full.

I can see UC with losses at USF and at home to WVA....

I cannot see UC losing at home to UCONN or at Cuse...

8-4 (3-4) seems about right for the Cats....

I'd be shocked if WVU loses at Cincinnati. I know this is one of those years where anything and everything is happening, but WVU appears to be peaking and WVU just looks like a bad matchup for the Bearcats.
