<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Football Classic bowl director leaves</span>

The Silicon Valley Football Classic is looking for its third executive director in less than four years after the board of directors failed to renew C. Jay Key's contract.

Mr. Key drew the ire of some board members by pushing for moving the bowl game to Stanford on a temporary basis and for squabbles with San Jose State.

"I didn't see this one coming," says Mr. Key, who claims he was offered a marketing position with the bowl. "I told them to keep their stamp."

Thanks for the post PerfectBronco. I wonder if the Silicon bowl will survive another season. They should move it to Fresno and call it the Fresno Bowl with Fresno as a permanent host!
