UConn Show and Tell!
Great win for the Huskies tonight and on ESPN (in HD, no less) the nation got to see first hand all the money the school has been pumping into the program. I must say, VERY nice facilities. The annoucers were very impressed with the quality of the football training facilities and made mention that they were some of the best in Division 1A.

Louisville will be back, so it was great to get some positive light shed on football newbie UConn!

Yep. Nice props to our facilities and they said it was one of the best in the ENTIRE country. Great for recruiting. If you a re a defensive player, you might want to play for coach Edsall cause he clearly can coach a D. Players improved under him year in year out. The good thing is we return 8 players on D and 10 on O next year.

UCONN D is for real. Next week's game against USF will be a good test and I expect another tough defensive battle.

within 5 years there wont be any talk of the big east being weak, this is a very good conference from top to bottom, pitt and cuse are a joke right now (no offense to any of you) but i think that with their history they wont be down for much longer, they'll both recover soon, and with the improvements of UCONN, Cincy, and USF there wont be one slouch in the league

right now its not good for us, because its like the SEC where we beat each other up all year, except without near the level of the respect they have, but sometime down the road we will have enough respect that a 1 loss big east team will be a NC contender

btw awesome win UCONN, you guys are doing great, love the heart your team played with

Thanks guys. That was a huge win for us. We already knew our defense is great and the facilities are top-notch. Now, the nation knows as well.

Its gonna be a huge game for both RU/UCONN. I wish they move the game to the end of the year vs. at beginning. It should be another hard hitting defensive battle. I will take my chances with Edsall against RU.

This is exactly the matchup they were hoping for a big rivalry game amongst two very good teams. Just like we have in women's basketball.

I can't agree that Pitt is a joke right now. I expect them to take down one of the ranked teams at some point this year. They just need to put it all together. Syracuse has shown signs of life this year. The last few years they didn't seem like they had any chance. This year they seem to be putting in better efforts. Maybe a new coach would help them.

That is true. Pitt and Syracuse have both shown signs of life. We'd just like to see them lift themselves out of the gutter.

RE: UConn Show and Tell!
I think even I might not be able to handle the intensity level at the Rutgers/UConn game this year. After watching both teams up close, Thursday and Friday, I am already worn out and the weekend is just beginning. This will be the first year both teams are good coming into the rivalry game and I just have a feeling the atmosphere is going to be crazier than crazy. ESPN wants ratings and a good show? Somebody better advise them to pick up Rutgers/UConn!
