How do you charge someone for a timeout when they challenged something that wasn't challengeable? I thought that the official would just tell you it couldn't be challenged, and the challenge would be dead. You wouldn't lose the challenge, and you wouldn't be charged with a timeout.

We lost to UConn because we handed them opportunities to win (4 fumbles, 2 of them in the redzone). I have tickets to the UConn game, front row baby! BJunk said it best!

Thank you UCONN D. Holding Brian Brohm to 10 points is an accomplishment in itself.

UCONN might not be flashy, but Tyler can throw if you give him the chance and we just flat out tackle. We also got a lot of pressure against Brohm rushing only 4 without blitzing.

Connecticut is a good team that plays defense. Louisville losing to Syracuse and Connecticut and might be in danger of not going to a bowl after all kinds of hype this summer.

This should put you guys on the fringe of the Top 25 again. Congrats on being bowl eligible! Hopefully you'll be ranked coming into Nippert Stadium. A heck of a season you guys are having! It's nice seeing another school like Connecticut step up for the Big East! 04-cheers

good game, i hope the usf coaches were watching i think uconn is going to give usf some trouble, louisville looks like a lost program right now. 1st and 5 and they can't get a first down and when did the louisville turn into a dink and dunk team. they must have the slowest duo of running backs in the conference, brock bolen has no business being the feature back.

Me too! I already knew it would be a nice game. I figured with Connecticut healthy and having a quality QB that they would be battling for a Big East bowl. But I didn't think they would be THIS good! 6-1 and a Top 30 team and Big East title contender!

I really feel for the folks involved with the UL football program. I'm sure we can all remember yrs when talented teams from our schools just have had no luck and for whatever reason just couldn't get started. It makes for one long yr

would be great if UCONN was ranked coming into Nippert (esp. if UC is still in Top 25 of course)...

If Connecticut wins next week (vs South Florida) they'll definitely be ranked, probably in the Top 30. There are so many ranked teams in the Big East that when one team drops (Louisville, Rutgers) another takes their spot (Cincinnati, South Florida). Of course, you have teams also reclaiming new Top 25 spots (Rutgers).

now i'm pissed, how is that not reviewable and yet the play against usf was. complete bullsh!t.

are BigEast refs worse than ConferenceUSA?

Good grief! They can pull a TD off the board against USF yet they let a clear cut screw up stand?

Why even have replay if they are going to pick and choose when to use it?

Refs were horrible tonight. It was not a coincidence that Brohm had a tough time throwing deep. UCONN D has been solid all year. We might play old style football, but our D is excellent and they finish plays. I been saying all year we are a solid team and I hope this game opened some eyes.

Bring on USF. It will be another good tight game down the wire. Glad to see UCONN fans showed up in horrible weather condition. This is the kind of win that will bring the fans out in force.
