RE: How far does USF fall, and will RU be ranked??

They should be close if not in.....what's their SOS anybody?
I believe it's in the mid-100s. It'll be tough, and they'll need some help Saturday (hopefully not from us) but Connecticut could sneak into the Top 25. Most likely they'll settle into the Top 30.
Update: Their SOS is actually 105. It has gotten significantly better playing in the Big East, and it should get better since they host South Florida next week.
I know this wont happen, but would'nt it be great if Uconn and Rutgers ends up ranked this week, pushing the number to 5 BE teams being ranked? That would be incredible.
Realistically, I see either Uconn or Rutgers being ranked this week, but not both, and that really depends on how many teams in front of them will lose this weekend.

That would be awesome! As long as Cincinnnati wins and, hopefully, there are a ton of upsets outside of Cincinnati, Connecticut will have a fighting chance. Especially since their win was over a respected Louisville team on ESPN, and ESPN constantly hyped up that Connecticut was 6-1 and undefeated in the Big East. At 6-1 and undefeated in a Top 3 or 4 conference that should get them, at least, the #25 ranking in my eyes. All this success also helps Pitt and Syracuse in recruiting since players want to play in the best conferences. They just need better coaches.

This is where you start wishing you had games back. Rutgers "should" have beaten Maryland and Connecticut "should" have beaten Virginia. We would already have had five ranked teams if those two results were reversed. That would certainly shut up some of the homer SEC tailclowns with respect to conference toughness.
For now, Rutgers might not even sneak back into the Top 25, unless a couple of teams in the 18-25 range lose today. Alabama over #22 Tennessee will not help. SEC pollsters would just flip-flop them. Missouri over Texas Tech (#15 vs. #22) might help, as would Oklahoma State over #25 Kansas State. That is about it though.
