Wink Non -sports, but UC receives $421 million donation
I guess they feel sorry for UC due to their low academics? 04-jawdrop03-shhhh:gasp:03-wink

I'm glad for the largest gift ever to UC, but isn't there some way they can get about $80-100 million of that for the athletic department? 03-lmfao

University of Cincinnatii officials announced today that the university has received a donation of computer hardware and software worth $421 million from a consortium of technology and manufacturing companies.

The gift comes from PACE, which stands for the Partnership for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education. Companies in the group include General Motors, Sun Microsystems, EDS and Hewlett-Packard.

The donation is the largest ever to UC. UC is the first university in the state to get a PACE donation and only one of 21 schools in the U.S. in the past eight years.

This is a historic event for the University. This has to be one of the largest gifts to a Universioty in history as 600 million is the top gift ever received by a University. Greta news ofr UC and the Big East.
