If Pitt gets a new coach next year (which seems very likely at this point) they could be next years South Florida. There is a TON of talented players on that roster and the next guy will have a loaded cupboard. The Big East will be even deeper if Pitt turns it around.

I'd like to see it where we manage to go 40-0 OOC one of these years where the worst team in the league went 0-7 in league play but went 5-0 OOC if we got it to that point you could pick whoever you wanted to go to 10 teams.

RE: Sleeping Giant
It would be even better if the entire Big East went 40-0 in non-league games with the worst team going 1-6 in conference play. That would put them at 6-6 overall and all eight teams would be bowl eligible. Victories in every bowl game would then ensure that all eight Big East teams finish with a winning record and leave no doubt in any reasonable person's mind which league is really the best conference in the nation.

RE: Sleeping Giant
We don't NEED Pitt ranked, but it sure wouldn't hurt things any. The BEast is doing fine, and will only get better as time goes by.

Pitt will do the same if Wanny goes bye.
