the only problem with this survey is that BSU and TUlsaFANs on this board far outnumber any other school.
we need to recruit some more WAC fans onto this board and get some good, intelligent dialog going...

I think it is difficult to recruit fans to a new board in the off season. Wait till football gears up and then this board should get rather lively.
I think their are quit a few Aggie fans here too, they just can't win the title this year.

or weep like little girls who lost their beloved kitty?
or threaten like men who lost their kitty to a little weepy girl?

I'd say, come Monday when people get back to work and check the board more, that the voting will end up more like 75% say Boise, because I am guessing that close to 75% of the fans that post on here are Boise fans. Sorry BoiseStateRules, but your sample is tainted and not representative of the WAC.

"Tainted"?????.............hardly. I simply asked others here to VOTE on this.
Secondly, what's with your concern about being "representative of the WAC"......aren't you guys headed to Conference Ewe-A$$-Ehhhh?

then again, maybe 75% of the fans in the WAC are boise state fans?
like everyone from tulsa. they love boise state more than they love their own moms, almost.
personally, i think SMU will surprise everyone.

Yes, 75% of the fans in the WAC are Boise State Fans....
I thought TU fan was a Boise State fan.
Is Hawk still the Coach.
Does Fresno play at Boise.
Does Hawaii play at Boise.
How can you pick anybody else.

well...
1) SJSU does have these kickass new dorms that would dwarf any building in downtown boise. maybe that will inspire them.
2) SMU is due.
3) rice is due.
4) UTEP is thrilled nearly to death about having price so that could result in a big turnaround. (if they were thrilled to death, i'd count them out, cuz they'd be DEAD.)
5) tulsa has TUfan. oh, and that kragthorpe guy.
6) hawaii has world-reknowned quarterback extraordinaire timmy chang. who, unless he lowers the INTs, will be renamed timmy change. BUT STILL, they got 'im.
7) nevada is due.
8 ) LA tech is trying to impress the MAC or CUSA or whoever will rescue them from the WAC. so they could win.
9) fresno is due. big time. in fact, they're overdue like a 50-year-old library book.
so there you go. everyone could win this thing, and so could anyone. but someone will, unless it's no-one.

I'll be bluntly honest and against my will to have to say Boise st. Whew, there you go, I said it. Of course I want UH to win but I don't think Timmy will handle all the pressure about breaking the passing yds record. So Ty Detmer, if your reading this, no worries man!
My prediction ranking the top 5 F.B. teams:
1. Boise st.
2. Fresno st.
3. UH
4. Tulsa
5. Utep or Nevada

Home Field Advantage counts a lot in the WAC and Boise State has it this year with Fresno and Hawaii both in Bronco Stadium.
Has Boise State ever been picked as the preseason WAC favorite.....NO!
Welcome to the Board HawaiiWarrior. Hawaii fans have the most class of any WAC fans!

I think it may boil down to who doesn't have to play who this year(because you know how good WHO is?? :D) Tulsa gets Boise at home this year, I think, so Tulsa wins it all !!! I'm not sure who we don't play this year and that can make a difference. Fresno is always going to have a pretty good team, Boise is almost that way too, so if you don't have to play one of those two, you have a little advantage!! Tulsa had the No 1 recruiting class in the WAC after having a good one last year. Then you add having a year's experience playing in Coach K's system, and now having all 300+ lb lineman leads me to believe Tulsa will be near the top!!!!!!

It looks like the Tulsa/Fresno series is over ...... forever..........
Doubt if Fresno and Tulsa ever hook up in a non-conference game.
I think Tulsa will be the Broncos biggest challange in the WAC. Kragthorpe will be hard to beat at home.
Where do you play Hawaii????

Nevada could be th darkhorse next year. Broncos play at Nevada in the last game. 2 years ago, there was an orangeout in Nevada. Bronco fans took over the town.
Where does Tulsa play Nevada?
Guess I could look up the schedule.....too lazy today!

Tulsa is in good shape for Boise ST. We get an extra week to prepare for them and to heal any bruises after the first five games!! Great scheduling!!! BSU will be in trouble when they get to Tulsa, a well rested and prepared team!! La Tech will probably be a little angry and go all out to beat any of the teams headed for CUSA. I'll stick my neck WAY OUT there and say Tulsa goes 10-2 or 9-3. I'm predicting a victory over the Big 12 this year. I just don't know which one of the teams. :D
