How about an agreement that Idaho will play all their conference football games on the road until they build a 30,000 seat on campus stadium.

That would save all the current WAC members travel expenses to Moscow and it would give Idaho a big incentive to build their stadium.

personally, i think that the UofI should do this:

1) remove the kibbie dome dome.
2) add a second deck to the existing facilities to increase attendance to the 30,000 level (i've seen images of the field before the dome was added -- this should be possible).
3) considering they would then have a beautiful new(ish) outdoor stadium on the hill, they would THEN be required to ALSO...
4) build a 7,500-seat (minimum) basketball facility with the money they saved by refurbishing the kibbie dome.

the problem idaho is having is where to build a new football stadium. however, reworking the kibbie to an outdoor stadium would require them to build a basketball venue, which has a much smaller footprint.

if idaho can do these two things (oversimplifying here, of course -- there are other details that would need addressing), then they should be welcome to the wac.

JMHO.
