Why to watch - Its college FB baby!

Why USF might win - best defense in the nation and I am thinking LSU when I say that

Why Rutgers might win - Ray Rice, home game, colder weather, pressure is on opponent

What will happen - tight game won by............Rutgers

Prediction - 24-22, Rutgers

As I am a WVU fan this is a 5.

Why to watch: let's see, night games usually are trap games and RU wants blood for these last two games

Why USF might win: QB Play and Defense

Why Rutgers might win: Ray Rice waking up from his sleep walking and the bloodlust

What will happen: I see OT and an absurd amount of big plays, cause thats the only way you can score against these defenses

Your Prediction: RU by an Ito field goal

Must See Rating: 6, The fusion of Farve, Tom Brady, and Joe Montana

RE: Rutgers vs USF....
Why to watch: Big East title/National title implications

Why USF might win: Playing some of the best football in the country. One of the best QBs in the country, strong running game, has the same type of defense that Cincinnati has, and it gave Rutgers trouble.

Why Rutgers might win: Rutgers has been in the Top 10, so they're experienced. Rice will be a handful, and Teel is dangerous if he gets into a flow. Also, Rutgers has one of the better defenses in the nation. Battle-tested.

What will happen: Rutgers is ready, and they don't want to lose 3 home games in a row. But USF's speed and toughness, and Grothe's development will be to much to handle. If the Scarlett Knight turn the ball over you can turn the lights out because USF will blow their doors off if that happens. Rutgers won't go down easily though.

Your Prediction: South Florida survives a dog fight 27-23

Must See Rating: 5

The homer SEC tailclowns on Rivals, as you would expect, have been mostly trashing RU/USF all day.

RE: Rutgers vs USF....
Why to watch: BCS/AP #2 South Florida is one of the hottest and most balanced teams in the nation they visit a similarly talented Rutgers squad seeing some growing pains after arriving on the national scene last season.

Why USF might win: USF's defense is scary good and incredibly fast. The offense led by the very mobile Grothe ain't too shabby either. Mike Teel is turnover prone once again and the Rutgers defense while filled with future talents is experiencing growing pains and an overall lack of experience.

Why Rutgers might win: Rutgers after stumbling against Maryland and Cincinnati will be looking for some respect back in the college football world. Rutgers has the superior offensive numbers. And in this college football season anything is possible.

What will happen: Rutgers wins a dramatic, close one once again decided by the leg of K Jeremy Ito

Your Prediction: Rutgers 31 - South Florida 28

Must See Rating: (5 Peyton Manning good - 1 Ryan Leaf Bad) 4.5

(#2) USF (6-0) at Rutgers (4-2) 10/18 7:30 EST

Why to watch: Everybody is watching USF

Why USF might win: Momentum, they are on the verge of something big, no gigantic, if they can handle it.

Why Rutgers might win: Needs to re-establish respect and knocking off #2 is just what the doctor ordered.

What will happen: Expect USF it play their best game of the year because they are not fools. They know where they are and they know they have to fight to keep it. There is no next year for USF it's just right here and right now.

Your Prediction: Rutgers gets demolished but nothing to be ashamed of. This is the year of USF and they caught their stride.

I'm not going to make a prediction but this is a game USF really needs to be wary of. Rutgers will have upset on their minds and if USF is caught slipping they can lose this game.

Why to watch: To see if Rutgers upsets USF.

Why USF might win: If Rutgers turns the ball over numerous times.

Why Rutgers might win: If the temperature is below 32 degrees.

What will happen: Depends on the temperature and whether or not Rutgers plays flawless football.

Your Prediction: Rutgers 31, USA 27.

RE: Rutgers vs USF....
Why To Watch: This year's newfound media darling, South Florida, is facing last year's reborn media darling, Rutgers, and putting their unprecedented #2 national ranking on the line in front of a national television audience.

Why South Florida Might Win: The Bulls are good. Jim Leavitt has his team focused and they are making the plays when they need to. George Selvie and the defense are lightning quick. Matt Grothe is a big time playmaker.

Why Rutgers Might Win: The Scarlet Knights are not in a good mood as losses to Maryland and Cincinnati took some of the shine off the season. Greg Schiano is opening up the playbook. Kenny Britt will be the key on offense.

What Will Happen: The pressure on South Florida to justify their #2 ranking from the biased media and traditionalist tailclowns will be tremendous. Cold weather could play a huge role. A sold out home crowd will boost Rutgers.

Your Prediction: Rutgers wins by a final score of 38-35. Jeremy Ito will blast a 44-yard field goal as time expires to give the Scarlet Knights victory and momentum. Bad for South Florida but good for evidence of Big East depth.

Must See Rating: 10 / 5 04-bow.

Sorry but I dont see either team scoring 30+ points on either defense. I see a low scoring game going 17-14 for either team.

RE: Rutgers vs USF....
There could a few defensive scores by either team in this game because both teams like to cause havoc in which creates turnovers. Whoever takes care of the ball in this game will win. If critics dont think the BIG EAST has smashmouth football teams, then they will need to pay attention to Thursday's game because both teams will show that in a grinding out fashiong. USF will use Ford whild Rutgers will use Rice to try to pound the running games down each other's throat.[/align]

RE: Rutgers vs USF....
Why to watch: The South Florida Bulls are crashing the old boys' party, and the media don't like it - even a little bit. This is a big road test in a potential hornets' nest, as host Rutgers is hungry to reclaim lost momentum from last year's landmark season. Aside from that, since it's a Big East game, it will probably be one of the most exciting of the week.

Why USF might win: USF has maybe the hottest QB in the league right now with Matt Grothe making plenty of big plays. The defense also may be the BE's best, and definitely the fastest, keyed by man-freak George Selvie. Plus, they are motivated to shut up their critics. Even if the Bulls win, the critics probably won't shut up, but at least they'll make the BCS computer go "ring-a-ding-ding"

Why Rutgers might win: The Knights righted their ship vs. the Orange last week, shaking off the collective funk of their last two losses. Ray Rice returned to expected form, and Mike Teel played efficiently after starting the game with an interception. RU also has Florida speed of their own to match up with USF. RU now has a chip on their collective shoulder, and it's helped that Eric Foster is pretending that every one of RU's remaining opponenets is UC quarterback Ben Mauk.

What will happen: RU matches up pretty well with USF, who is a very different team on the road. Fortunately for USF, it is too early in the Autumn season for cold weather to be a factor. This will go down to the wire.

Your Prediction: Rutgers will climb back into the rankings with a close win: RU 30, USF 28

Must See Rating: (5 Peyton Manning good - 1 Ryan Leaf Bad)
5 (simply because it's a Big East Game)
