KEG OF NAILS stays home
I did not think we had it in us but hell we pulled it off. Krapthorpe has his biggest win of his Cardinal Coaching career. He still did some stupid @$$ stuff but I will celebrate the win tonight against the Bearcats.

Unfortunately UC probably allowed Kragthorpe to keep his job while dropping themselves out of the Top 25.

I have to say though, don't celebrate to hard, because Cincinnati probably just gave you Kragthorpe for another year or two.

Enjoy the win though. But I just hate allowing mediocre coaches to stay in the Big East. As painful as a loss would have been, if UC had won it probably would have put Kragthorpe on the chopping block. Heck, Kragthorpe didn't even WIN the game. Brohm played the game of his life and it STILL took fumbles for Louisville to win the game because Kragthorpe wasn't making the right adjustments.

UC choked on the big stage, enough said. Turnovers, not converting on the goal line, missed opportunities, penalties, ect. Ville played a great game and really gave Mauk some problems, with that said Cincy is still the 3rd best team in the BE who just got caught on an off night. Mickens catches that int for a TD 9/10 times, sh!t happens, I'm interested to see how Cincy bounces back after an emotional game like this.

Louisville played they way they should have all year and capitalized on the Bearcat mistakes. Great game by the Cards, hopefully the Bearcats return to playing the way they did for the first 6 games.

UC left points on the field, plain and simple. Fumbling the ball twice in the red zone is just bad... Congrats on the win, UL.

Now if you guys can just clean up the crappy UL fans who swear at UC fans, whether kids or adults, I'd be happy :)

The Keg indeed stays with The Ville'!

I honestly didn't think we'd win this game. We'd been dominating the UK series the same way, and this year Cincy seemed similar to UK in that it had a very good team, game is at home, and it's the right year to get a win against a struggling UofL program.

We play better on the road this year for some reason, but I still have concerns about our team; we aren't going to always get such a huge turnover-margin like that; we still gave up a ton of yards and barely squeaked out a win.

....still, it's a win and right now we just can't complain about that.

Now you know how WVU fans felt after the USF game. How many of those 6 TOs were in the red zone? I can think of 3. It sucks, don't it?

And there are Louisville fans on UofL boards stating the crappy behavior of some Cincy fans. 07-coffee3

Truthfully, it's just petty for either side complaining about fans. Just let it go. Louisville got their Top 25 win and Keg of Nails, UC is still in the Top 25 and is a Top 25 program. Everybody came out a winner.

Exactly. Hopefully this is the sign of UC's ascension to national prominence, and hopefully Louisville returns to their rightful place in the national picture. Then we'll REALLY start seeing some crazy stuff! lol

Wow, it was refreshing to see a win over a quality team in person! I have to agree that we won due to Brohm and in spite of Kraggy based on what I saw from sitting behind the UofL bench, but I'll take it! I didn't see problems between opposing fans, but I wasn't near the UC student section so it went well by me.
