How can you say that when there are 6 teams with 1 less win and alot of football to be played?

Dude's not allowed to make a prediction? Are you Joe Morgan?

Oh they're predictions? Look more like statements of fact the way it's stated. Not Joe Morgan, but way too early to decide where the final rankings and bowl bids will land when 9 of 13 teams have 3-4 wins and 3-4 losses.

RE: Akron vs. Temple
Name a 4th team right now that even looks like bowl material? CMU, Miami, and Ball State have outplayed the rest of the MAC. Ball State's two MAC losses are to CMU and Miami. CMU and Miami are clearly the class of the MAC right now. BGSU losing by 40 to Miami and Kent State losing at home to Miami two weeks ago should have answered any questions. Akron isn't that good and neither is WMU. The rest are terrible. Buffalo won't win 6 games needed to qualify for a bowl so they are more a spoiler. Unless Miami does something crazy like lose at Temple, they will be bowling this year. They have played a brutal schedule and are 4-3 against that schedule. They found themselves a QB and a RB. They fixed that defense, but Colorado and Cincinnati were a lot better than people thought. Miami showed BGSU just how far the gap is in the east.

Well we will see about Miami today... they sure as hell beat up on BGSU... all the other games show me that they beat who they should have beat and lost to who they should have lost to. ~3 hours till i see what the owls are made off again against the best.... Hey and one of these years the owls will convince you that losing to them isn't something crazy.... actually maybe like next week.

RE: Akron vs. Temple
ou bobcat here is my take on the mac.the confernce is balanced this year from top to bottom teams.the mac as a conference is terrible this year.i tried to make this point on our gozips board also but people are in denial that the mac is bad this year.the good thing it may be balanced and exciting for teams like buffalo, and temple.having said that when your #1 team cmu gets drilled not just lost by a 1-aa team that says it all.
plus most of the teams are under .500,and won't have enough wins for a bowl.what to you think.i think most mac teams fans are in denial of how bad they really are this year.

It's like that everywhere, noit just the MAC. Look at how many teams dropped in the standings already, how many upsets we've had, how terrible teams like Notre Dame have been and how surprising South Florida has been. Parity!

Notre Dame being terrible was pretty predictable. Anyone who follows college foosball knew that they would not be bowl bound this year.
