I'm pretty sure Idaho hasn't been featured in SI's 50th anniversary thing yet.. so I thought I'd see who you guys would vote for.. My guess is that Tormey might be the winner.. Being the head coach at two of Boise State's biggest rivals, afterall..

Is this a vote for the most hated man in Idaho?
Then Tormeny gets my vote!
Biggest Jerk that I have ever met!

Gary Crouton -- the coach of the parochial stench.

We hate him because of his arrogance (wants to drop USU from the schedule and play Notre Dame and So. Cal every year) and cluelessness (too "busy" to attend weekly "Big 5" media dos in Salt Lake, which killed the event); puke fans hate him for the same reasons (more or less); and stench fans hate him because he's killing the program.

Just goes to show -- a dog that'll hunt in Ruston won't hunt in Provo. And that's a fact.

Actually they were........and the so-called "enemy of the State" was listed as Al Davis of the Oakland Raiders............... just one more example of how utterly clueless SI is these days.04-drinky

My picks would be either John L. Smith (former coach of the Idunno Vandullards and Utah State and Louisville and now at Michigan State) or Montana (the school). The old rivalry between Boise State and Idaho with Montana was always extremely fierce.

P.S. What the heck does Al Davis of the Oakland Raiders have to do with Idaho? It makes no sense at all to me. 05-nono

Al Davis
Idahoans' favorite NFL team is the Broncos, so the Raiders' owner was a logical choice. As for the runners-up, Nutt coached football at Boise State and Tormey at Idaho. The most hated foes: the University of Idaho (15%) and Washington State (12%).

Al Davis 13%
Houston Nutt 7%
Chris Tormey 6%
