RB Ryan Moats, Jr. Louisiana Tech
Moats turned into one of the WAC's biggest surprises last year rushing for 1,300 yards and ten touchdowns while catching 27 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown. He's a quick back who more than proved he could handle the workload and should be in for an even bigger season with a huge, experienced line in front of him.
WAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year
SS James Sanders, Sr. Fresno State
Sanders led the team in tackles last season turning in an All-WAC performance with 93 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions last year. He also blocked two kicks. He is one of the biggest hitting defensive backs in college football.
