Motor City: Central vs. Indiana




I realize it can change drastically week in and week out, but it's good to be noticed when we win.

WOW. What a difference a couple weeks make in predictions.

2 weeks ago ESPN had CMU as 10 of the worst teams in college football.

Still a long way to go. Gotta beat WMU and EMU for a shot at this.

I can definatly see it happening with the way this team is playing. They were a very similar situation last year at this time after beating UT and Ball State.

Still just have to take the rest of the season one day at a time.

Hmmm, I think predicting us for the Motor City has better odds than Indiana being there. Indiana is for real and has some dangerous weapons. They will get a better Big Ten bid than the Motor City. I think enough Big Ten teams will be bowl eligible this year, with the Motor City bid coming down to probably Iowa or Michigan State.

Oh i'd love to go back to the Motor City Bowl. I had so much fun last year.

And if we face State... Ford Field will be sold out, and be hard to get a ticket probably.

It was a near sellout last year...i think only about 2,000 short in a 65,000 seat stadium. And that was against fricken Middle Tennessee State (WHO??). Get any team actually from the Big 10 in the MCB (as it is supposed to be but never happens) it will be a guaranteed sell out, and you better buy them tickets fast cause they will go go go.

That was the first time in a long time our team had been to a bowl. I wonder if Chip Nation would all return? I think they would against MSU for sure.

If we played MSU we would get killed. I think that had we played them last year we would have stood a good chance at winning.

I suppose I should have gave a little reasoning. I think last year we had a better defense but above everything else I think that the whole John Smith distraction woould have given us a great shot at knocking them off.

This year MSU has a solid offense who would abuse our defense. Plus sparty seems to pick it up everytime we play them.

I dont think our offense is consistant enough and our defense isnt good enough to keep us in that one. By the end of the year I could change my opinion im not one who is afraid to admit when i am wrong.

We have always played them early, when they are good. As the season goes later, they get worse. I think we'll have a good shot against them if we continue to improve. I challange someone to name 5 players on their team. I've got Adams... Caulkric... Ringer................................................................ Hoyer...... Dunno any of the others.

yeah, um, MICH, did you see the NW game? C'mon. I don't think we'd run away with it or anything, but to flat out say they'd beat us...well, i think if we get to that point it would be a hell of a game.

I would imagine a lot of people dont know who Ike Brown, Red Kieth, Hoskins, Brian Anderson, or Antonio Brown are either but it doesnt mean they arent good.

Im not saying we dont have a chance but if I had to put my money on anyone that game it would be MSU heads up.
