Personally I hope it is nothing more than RUMOR. I thought we were done travleling off to S.E.C. country to be S.E.C. sacrificial lambs (ala Fresno State). Wasn't the shellacking by Arkansas and South Carolina a few years ago enough? Although the 2005 team would have LOTS of returning starters coming back. 04-drinky

We must make a 'prove it' road test each year from here on out, IMO. This program needs to take the next step. We're ready and this isn't Koetter's team that went to So Carolina or the undersized team that ran into a tornado in Fayetteville. If we are, we need to find that out too.

Plus Hawk is asking for it so it will happen. Not necessarily SEC, but a name team in either SEC or Big10/12.

GA is Marshall's 3rd game of the season this year.

Troy STATE
Ohio St.
Georgia

If it is it will be a good measuring stick for you all. Even if you happen to lose the game you can study the film and see what needs corrected when you play the bigger BCS schools. Thats what we did when we got blown out by Florida in 2001 and in 2002 we came closer to beating VA Tech and last year we should have had 2 wins. We picked up 1 over #6 ranked K-State and lost by 10 to Tenn if our QB hadn't blew out his achilles, I think we would have been ranked most of the season. But thats here nor there. You have to take the GA game if offered.
