NTR: eBay hacked.. cc's posted in forum
http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...44&start=0

someone posted hundreds of credit cards including ebay user accounts, addresses, cv #s on the Trust and Safety board. Took ebay 90mins. to cut off the board..

With the help of some people, they generated a list of names on a website that might be compromised.

I have used eBay estensively since 1998 and have always used paypal, even when it wasn't owned by ebay...way back when it was just http://www.x.com (you can still type that in and it will go to paypal..cool). Fortunately I've never had any problems with nonpayment, missing shipments, or online fraud etc. I have received many "spoof" emails though that would fool a lot of people.
