Fed Up
Frankly, at this point I don't really care if this Jones guy stays at NIU or goes elsewhere. Obviously it would be great to have him but I am starting to wonder if he is a loose cannon. I just hope that NIU doesn't wind up in trouble with the NCAA over something that happened that nobody knows about.

The unknown can be frustrating. Right now, all this is playing itself out and we only hear bits-and-pieces. The rest is speculation. There's too much reading into things going on. We just have to be patient and see what happens.

It is just an opinion, has nothing to do with any ND insinuations. What does "stop yourself" suppose to mean?

RE: Fed Up
D. Jones will not be playing football at NIU unless the AD at ND formally releases him to play at NIU.

ND seems to be willing to release him to some 70 schools, but NIU is not included on their list for some reason.

Things could be worse. At least the Cubs are winning.

He does not need to be released to play football at NIU. He only needs a release to be eligible for a scholarship this season. So, if you know something about Jones' financial situation or his desire to have a scholarship this year or not, it's all speculation.
