RE: ESPN Atlantic Sun Shootaround
Legit sized big men (6'10"+) take more time to develop. Even in high major programs it is rare that a big man comes in and competes for playing time right away. If they do they are in the NBA the next season. Cornett has excellent upside as a true center, and Allison is really more of a SF from what I have seen. As far as Cornett getting playing time next year, I think you can bank on that. Remember though that even next year he will only be a SOPHOMORE. Look for him to really start contributing as a junior and a senior which will be when KSU is eligible for the NCAA tournament. We get Green in the fold, and we have a front line that can compete with a lot of midmajor and even some high major teams.

Losing Cornett hurts us this year, but it is probably better for us in the long term.
