I make a mean Black Cat Stout and an Appy Road Red that that has a hint of Apricot.
My tastes are more UK styles than German.
I raise my own hops - Fuggles and Tettenger.
HomeBrewing - The Hobbie you can drink!!!!!
I recently made an awesome German style Kolsch and a Belgian Wit. My tastes are pretty broad, including a killer Porter in the winter.
I also raise hops, although they don't generally yield enough for brewing, except my Cascade and Kent Golding.
We'll have to swap homebrews at a BSU-Nevada tailgater.

You bet, you bring yours and I will bring mine.
I have several friends that Homebrew, maybe we can get a Brew tasting party going along with the tailgate.....
I just planting the hops last year and had enough hops for one batch. I have a Tettinger and Fuggles and they are going crazy this year. Hope I have enough yeild to take care of BroncoMike and my beer making for the year. There are a lot of hop fields in my county.....for Coors. The Bud hops are raised in southeastern Idaho.
Not a fan of the Cascade hops,,,,to grapefruity for me. Have you tried raising any two row barley?
