I go by stynervandal on Vandal Venue and I will be visiting with you all throughout football and basketball season. I cannot wait for football to start, when we will actually be playing teams that we care about playing (Unlike ULL, ULM, ASU, MTSU, etc.).

Yes, assuming you mean beer - hence the "Brew" portion of my moniker.
I make a mean Black Cat Stout and an Appy Road Red that that has a hint of Apricot.
My tastes are more UK styles than German.
I raise my own hops - Fuggles and Tettenger.

HomeBrewing - The Hobbie you can drink!!!!!

I was mostly a lurker on the Owlzone and went by my NorthValleysWolf name there and on WolfPackChat as well. I am a season ticket holder at Nevada for both basketball and football and I try to go to as many baseball games as work permits. And I am going to miss Anthony's board extremely much. LMAO, oh sorry, did I just laugh. Oops, I thought I was supposed to cry when I was upset. Oh well.
GO PACK!!!!!! GO WAC!!!!!! GO AWAY ANTHONY, FAR AWAY!!!!!!!

I recently made an awesome German style Kolsch and a Belgian Wit. My tastes are pretty broad, including a killer Porter in the winter.

I also raise hops, although they don't generally yield enough for brewing, except my Cascade and Kent Golding.

We'll have to swap homebrews at a BSU-Nevada tailgater.

You bet, you bring yours and I will bring mine.
I have several friends that Homebrew, maybe we can get a Brew tasting party going along with the tailgate.....

I just planting the hops last year and had enough hops for one batch. I have a Tettinger and Fuggles and they are going crazy this year. Hope I have enough yeild to take care of BroncoMike and my beer making for the year. There are a lot of hop fields in my county.....for Coors. The Bud hops are raised in southeastern Idaho.

Not a fan of the Cascade hops,,,,to grapefruity for me. Have you tried raising any two row barley?

Hmmm, a homebrew tailgater? If others from respective team boards hear about this, we may need to brew a lot. You'll have to get BroncoMike to help us out.

I've harvested enough for a batch, but not much more. I planted tettnanger a couple years ago and get some off it, but not enough for a batch - maybe this year. Of course I only have one vine for each variety and I don't grow them like in a traditional hop field. Not enough room in the yard. However, they grow well on the south side of the house, plus they have a cooling effect on the inside of the house. Sounds like you have some good hop crops going.

I'm not a huge fan of Cascade, but I'm okay with them in pale ales. They just happen to go crazy in my yard. I haven't tried growing any 2-row. I have a small garden area out back. Would it be worth the effort trying to raise some barley?

Here's to Homebrewing Friday!! 04-drinky[QUOTE]

Hello, I rarely posted on the Owlzone board, but visited often. I have been going to Spartan games since I was 3y/o--I'm now 46. I currently live in North Carolina, so I don't get to attend many games. But I do listen to all the games over the internet and go to any game within a 1,000 miles of home...Florida, LSU, OHIO STATE, ILLINOIS, TECH ect. I will be going to the Illinois game this year--hope we can make it two in a row in Champaign. I also try to make one game a year in San Jose.

SJS-DUDE, I also used to visit Bob Salas' board...it was great till Anthony got a computer and discovered the internet. Back then Rocca went by the monicker The Rock. Once he showed-up a good website died.

GO SPARTANS!!!
