IdahoTiger (Tom Mays) Obit added...
Passed away on Aug. 26th , spoke to his mom, he had (spelling?) Ankolis Spondolitis, he had gotten down to 90 or so pounds. He was 52. His uncle, Henry B. Evans got him hooked on the Tigers, according to his mother, Evans was one of or maybe the last Tiger athlete to letter in 3 sports.

His mother wanted everyone to know that the family believes that Tom's involvement here extended his life. Myself and some others obviously had drafted Idaho to gather info on certain topics. His mother spoke about his travels around the world and commented on what a wonderfull life he had lived.

He will be missed.

An obit is being sent to me, I'll pass it along.

Well this brings life back into perspective.
I'm very, very saddened to hear of this news. I wish I had known Tom on a personal level. He always seemed to have such a bright outlook on life and seemed to have an overall great demeanor and such great knowledge of everything he talked about, including his love for the Tigers.

God be with you IdahoTiger!!! Rest in Peace!!!

Keith, is there anything we can do as Tiger fans to honor his memory?

Man, that's a dissappointment. Idaho was a HUGE asset to the Tiger Nation, especially to the recruiting board here at MT.org. He will be sorely missed. God Bless and Godspeed, Idaho.

This is awful, just awful news. He seemed to be a genuinely nice guy and a good person. Those are harder and harder to come by these days.

I hope he gets to look down from Heaven and see "his team" cutting down the nets in San Antonio.

May you find peace in God's loving arms, Tom. May your family find solace in the fact that you are no longer suffering.

Wow, my day just got a little harder...

When we hadn't heard from him in so long, I was afraid something bad was going on, but didn't want to bring it up. He'll be sorely missed. Rest in peace.
