So what's the basis for the Utah St. love affair?

# SportsWest appearances:
Utah St.: 5
Idaho: 1
NMSU: 1
Everyone else: 2

A lot of Utah State games on Sports West this season.....

I concur. They really like Utah State for some reason!
Most of the other WAC teams are covered when they play the Aggies!!!!

Yeah.. that's wierd. Us LaTech folk are left out to dry this season on tv. Last year, we had all but one game televised, and that was at Hawaii. It will be lowsy not to be able to see my Dawgs on tv much.

I notice they still have the soon to be CUSA teams and don't have the soon to be WAC teams like NMSU, USU and Idaho on the left panel with the helmets.

Notice that they also seem to have forgotten completely about New Mexico State.

Plus, they seem to have also completely forgotten about Colorado State and T.C.U. being in the Mtn. West.

Whoever put this together MUST be either an Idaho Vandull fan or an idiot (or likely both). :D

Also, notice the helmet they have for the University of Montana Grizzlies is a Montana State Bobcat helmet.

I can't remember USU ever having so many games televised. I guess I'll have to get cable this season after all..

They also have UTEP still in the WAC, and with a Texas Longhorn helmet.

SportsWest games are usually picked up by our local Boise State station, so no cable is required!!!!

I think that the reason that there are so many USU games is because we are going to be so great this season.

Actually my hunch is because Sportswest is a Salt Lake City based company and we have no local affiliate. They may have wanted to run the games throughout Utah. With the exception of the games against Ewetah and BY-who we rarely get local TV. It is usually ESPN+, Sportswest, or something else. I could very well be wrong but that is my guess. Most other WAC schools have a local affiliate for games not picked up by ESPN or Sportswest

Yes, it's on both satellite networks. It's also known as Comcast SportsNet West. Supposedly you need the Sports Pack to get it, but we've been getting it on DirecTV ever since it debuted, and we don't have the Sports Pack. We also started getting Fox Sports Bay Area at some point...I have no idea why, and don't plan to ask! :)
