Sometimes you have a down year, look at BGSU, Toledo, CMU the last couple years, we've had a winning record for a long time, at some point you have to have a down year. We've all been talking about 2008 for a long time now, this only shows this won't be the year, something we've all known for a long time if you've watched the team.

No, but it was Novak who put a QB (Davis) at WR in the first place, and now has left us with the crap we have at QB. People were happy to get Britt as a QB - I don't recall ANYONE saying, "Great - we got Britt Davis, one of the most prolific QBs in IHSA history - let's move him to WR!!!" Britt's been dropping more passes than he should ever since his switch over - so it's Novak's fault for not either finding a way to correct this or getting a better receiver on the field.

Britt did play some QB has FR year. They had design plays with his strengths in mind. He was horrible and kept fumbling. He didn't beat Horvath or Nicholsen out. How is that Novak's fault.

I believe Urban Meyer(BGSU), the late Terry Hoeppner (MU), and Tom Amstuzts(UT), (forgive spelling errors in the names of these three coaches). And two out of the three that I named moved on to bigger and better programs. Joe is not the only coach in the MAC to have turned out an AP ranked team. If anything I think Toledo's coach has accomplished the most in the long run....I mean how many MAC titles hae they won, and not to mention bowl games in the past couple of years.

Maybe you've just been lurking for a while. Welcome to the board . . . or should I say welcome back?

I didn't realize that I needed to give you my resume before I posted.

I have a very busy job and don't post often and hadn't looked at this board since last season and I can't remeber what my login was so i registered again. I typically posted very seldomly but read the posts - I have started grad school at NIU and have wanted to become more engaged in the program - I guess I picked the wrong time.

Is that satisfactory enough for you???
Whatever. I just found it curious.

Great answer!

I am so glad you treat people like that!

I think you're misreading my intent. I said "whatever" because you're response was a little more over the top than I expected and I didn't think it was neccessary to continue this on any further....because, I really don't care that much.
