The biggest problem I see is the lack of mental toughness on the entire team. When we were standing on the sideline waiting McCarthy was ripping the defense a new one about the TD at the end of the half. Any time anything goes wrong it gets multiplied by the dumb plays as a result of no one picking their heads up. Honestly the best quality Jones can bring this team is leadership.
We need someone to look to that we can confidently say, "he will lead us out of this." I hope that Jones can be that next year, and that some of the current Jrs. can step up as well.

yes...and you know, this correlates with the tiny amount of seniors on the team. Having pretty much the entire 2003 recruiting class either (a) not even making it 2 years into the program, (b) be very minor contributers to the team...is rearing its ugly head this year. this is the year they would have been seniors... :(

That's Novak's fault.

everyone on this board was excited when the 2003 list was released. some players ended up being Lazy-a$$es, trouble makers, or just didn't pan out.
