RE: Can we trade UAB for Troy?
I think in about two more years you're going to be wishing that UAB's athletic dept. had left well enough alone and kept Watson Brown. We're going to take losses this season in a classic rebuilding year, but we're not going to be under Watson Brown any more, and we're going to improve.

From what I've seen, a couple of y'all who have penciled us in as sure wins might wanna get out the eraser till after the game is over.

Actually, there are good things happening in our athletic dept. since the hire of Brian Mackin as AD. It's just going to take some time to come together.

Post of the year, right there. That is absolutely the case. And we all have huge inferiority complexes regarding the big BCS schools in our states, and we take out that frustration by belittling one another.

Suede27 Wrote:I say good luck to any team in cusa against anyone they play even if it's against UAB. USM fans, if your wondering why there is such hard feelings against USM, start by going back and reading all of InTheKnow's threads/posts, and then look at the title of this thread. How many UAB fans come on here calling out anyone without being instigated into it. I actually think that UAB fans as a whole show a lot of class. It's people like InTheKnow and Goldballs that bring so much negativity to these boards. Just look at their reps. We as a conference are never going to go anywhere and build a fan base if everyone keeps acting like a bunch of children. I swear. GOOD LUCK TO CUSA! AND GO BLAZERS!

Its not just those two, and its not just USM fans. Its half the fans that post here, but mainly from the Eastern division schools and Houston.

We beat Mississippi State at Mississippi state. We beat baylor by 50 points, it was their most lopsided loss of the year, we beat them worse than texas, oklahoma, etc..

Unlike two of our conference-mates, we aren't losing to 1-AA teams. Maybe you're thinking about trading out the wrong school.

It isn't much different from beating NC State either.
