Still BS, but at least better than the coaches' conference agenda poll. But, too funny - App. State ahead of UC.

UC is 33 in the rankings, really 32 since Appalachian St. doesn't count towards bowls or BCS rankings since they can't qualify. As long as USF wins next week they should crack the Top 25 in both polls. I can't believe someone has to guts to give a vote to Florida State. But, again, it's nice seeing UC getting Top 25 votes, really helps the conference. But USF should be in the Top 25.

I'm not sure the AP poll counts toward the BCS anymore. I think the BCS now goes by the Coaches' BS and Harris polls.

You're right Bjunk, they pulled out a few years ago. The AP still has their own national champion.

AP writers asked out of the BCS poll inclusion. Coaches' poll is a fraud. Most of these homers don't even watch teams play so how are they suppose to rank them. You know those SEC homers think SEC is tough blah blah. Since not everyone plays everyone else, perception is more than reality.

Is 5 ranked teams a possibility this year?

Yes it is possible. A lot of things would have to fall into place, but it is possible.

Wow, I'm back after a long hiatus.

Great to see the Big East doing well this week, losing 1 spot isn't too bad.

I think S. Florida should have cracked the top 25, but maybe by next week. What a great win!

I am really surprised USF did not crack the polls. I guess South Carolina beating a ranked SEC on the road and USF beating a ranked SEC team on the road do not count the same. South Carolina jumps all the way to 17 while USF does not make it in.

Yeah, but SC had a big win in week 1 as well against FSU, which means more than winning against Elon. If they win next week, they are close enough that they'll be in next week when some school drops out.

USF didn't have the best game, so I think they need one more week of winning to convince all the voters. It will be nice (hopefully) to see 4 Big East schools in the Top 25!

clemson beat fsu not south carolina, coaches poll is a sham, auburn is ranked higher than usf. after the way texas a&m played against fresno state i don't see how they put them ahead of us.

Wow, good call...there goes my argument! Haha. Well that is pretty ridiculous...but USF should be in next week assuming they win.

After the way VT and Miami got hammered this weekend you know the ACC is seriously looking at trouble. I'm sure they got their friends in the SEC to show them some love- off the field anyways. I think either BC or Ga. Tech will win the ACC this year. Both are undefeated and I beleive they play each other next week. The winner of that game becomes the best top 12 hope for the ACC.

VT probably got a break because they played LSU, though they were OUTCLASSED!05-mafia They still get a break. I remember someone saying the ACC had opportunities because of a tough OOC schedule. I think Okl and LSU put the ACC "parity" in perspective- The league is just plain BADDDDD04-rock

That's ok. USC will lose to Nebraska. Auburn will give LSU a loss, improving USF's image. And Oklahoma will stumble somewhere along the way, like Texas. If everything holds true to form, and the Mountaineers get through The BEast undefeated, they should end up in the BCS Championship game.

South Carolina beat Louisiana Lafayete 28-14 in opener they then beat Georgia and now face South Carolina State next week.
Clemson beats FSU at home 24-18, beats Louisiana Monroe 49-26 at home and net faces Furman

Both those schools are ranked and certaitly USF beating Auburn AT Auburn matches SC beating Georgia and its better than anything the Tigers have on their record after what we saw from FSU vs UAB.
