Walker Interview
On a local TV station here in the Nasty 'Nati, Walker was interviewed and was asked about his possible signing and Mayo's also. He said something along the lines of how well they work with eachother and he said why would we want to change now. So the odds are if they play together at all it is not going to be at USC but rather KSU. So if you ask me it still sounds possible Huggins will land both still. There are reports that are claiming Mayo has not said anything to USC officials now. Wait and see.
Quote:Mayo, speaking after Thursday's morning session at the ABCD camp, told the Herald News that he might make an oral commitment to some college this week, then still take recruiting trips after that.
"I'd like to try to get it over with by this week, Mayo told the Herald News. I'm still talking it over with my mother and my grandfather. I'm going to take a visit (to Florida) and K-State and make a final decision. A verbal is just a verbal. (USC) is what I like right now, but that could change.

I dont see how you get KSU would be more likely out of that. Perhaps Im just missing something?
Couldnt Walker be saying something to the effect of:
"Mayo's chosen to go to USC and why would I want to change something that has been working for me. I think I'll follow him to USC".

No, Walker wouldn't follow Mayo because Walker is much closer to Huggins. Seeing that USC is not on his radar but KSU is on Mayo's radar. Thats why I came up with that statement.
