The Path to Censorship
Remember last year when Bill Clinton went nuts in the Chris Wallace interview over ABC's: "Path to 9/11" mini-series?(which is excellent)....and his people forced them to EDIT the original cut?

well now, the series isn't making it to DVD release, apparently due to Hillary's campaign:

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/new...es-entnews

Quote:Nowrasteh … said he was told by a top executive at ABC Studios that “if Hillary weren’t running for president, this wouldn’t be a problem.”

“Whatever anyone may think about me or this movie, this is a bad precedent, a dangerous precedent, to allow a movie to be buried,” added Nowrasteh, who received death threats even before the miniseries was broadcast last September. “Because the next time they’ll go after another movie. The Bush administration may go after a movie. The next administration may go after a movie. No matter who it is, they may go after a movie. I think this town needs to stand up.”

how many anti-Bush films and outright propaganda(Fahrenheit 9/11) came out in 2004? with moore's crockumentary being put out on DVD in October before the election? and they can't handle one little mini-series, which actually went easier on Clinton than it could have.......Stalinist?

oh yeah, that little faux outrage by Clinton last year in Wallace interview, is of course yet another LIE:

Slick said in famous interview:

Quote:What did I do? What did I do? I worked hard to try to kill him. I authorized a finding for the CIA to kill him. We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since.

then, from the recently released CIA Inspector's General Report:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20381551/site/newsweek/

Quote:Clinton appeared to have been referring to a December 1999 Memorandum of Notification (MON) he signed that authorized the CIA to use lethal force to capture, not kill, bin Laden. But the inspector general’s report made it clear that the agency never viewed the order as a license to “kill” bin Laden—one reason it never mounted more effective operations against him. “The restrictions in the authorities given the CIA with respect to bin Laden, while arguably, although ambiguously, relaxed for a period of time in late 1998 and early 1999, limited the range of permissible operations,” the report stated. (Scheuer agreed with the inspector general’s findings on this issue, but said if anything the report was overly diplomatic. “There was never any ambiguity,” he said. “None of those authorities ever allowed us to kill anyone. At least that’s what the CIA lawyers told us.” A spokesman for the former president had no immediate comment.)

If they can't handle an ABC mini-series which is accurate none the less and which most american voters will not actually watch, nor debate on Fox News, then how the heck can they confront Al-Qaida and our other Jihadist enemies?
