That's an interesting interpretation of reality.

Do you really want to go there?

You know who makes the rules, and no I do not want to re-hash this whole thing again (waste of time for everyone).

Good luck to the pack saturday.

GO SPARTANS!

Back to attendance. SJSU needs a good turnout--isn't this game on ABC? Hopefully the stadium is as full as possible. I haven't yet watched a full game of the 'Pistol Offense', so I'm looking forward to it.

Though it is by no means something that can or will be enforced, there are two things that you should do simply in the name of decency.

1. Drop your silly rule of not being able to post a link on your board. This is the internet.....links come with the territory. Beyond that, it's America....if you're afraid that a link will steer the people to another site, then it probably means you need to change your site and/or how you run it. The banning and rules you impose are petty. Like Sting said..."If you love someone, set them free".

2. If you are going to insist on keeping the "no links" rule, out of common decency, don't do it on other boards. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

This isn't rocket science man....just try to show some class.

OK fine.

In the name of fairness, decency, and honor.....

Post links on our board if you want.
It's not that big of a deal anyway, as our format is better than here.

Let's not make it blatent, however....

See, that's what should be happening. Give people the freedom to post links and if you feel that your product truly is better and you run a fair board, I think people would post there without reservation.

We'll see if you stick to it, but I think it's a good first step.

Welcome to the human race. 04-cheers

Anthony Wrote:Yo sportsDawg,

Thoise who run the WACbbs have a dislike for Scout and Rivals message boards because some of the content is made premium, which means you have to pay for it.

There was a small war that started when those who run this site came to my WAC forum and started blatently posting links from my board back to here.

Our rules say that is a no-no.

And when you post links here, they get altered, and direct you back to some clown site or equivalent.

Over all, we have all gotten over it, and no one is banned on SpartanThunder.com currently.
It's all good in the neighborhood.

As for SJSpartansandSharks, that poster is not a spartan fan- FYI.
There was a war???
Well, it must be over now, cuz all the moderators on this board are
scout.com and rivals.com moderaters, except for Laura......and of course our leader GT!!!!!

Alright buster no invite to the super exclusive WPC WAC board for you!

For the record I think you, sjgregg, anthony, and spartan thunder are all the same person.

BTW- No one forced you to read 40 posts. If you don't like it...don't read it.
For the love of God Wolfin, I think this message board makes it pretty clear that SJSpartans&Sharks, Anthony and myself are all very different people. Well, unless one of us is Sybil. Let's run down the styles:
1) Anthony - flame thrower on this board who apparently in trying to make peace
2) Spartan/Sharks - insults everyone and uses his/her so clever line: "must be your lover"
3) SJGregg - trying to bring some peace to the neighborhood with some, not a lot, of WAC takes

Now back to attendance, I hope you're bringing some because after our whooping in San Diego, I don't know that the crowds will show. The fact that it's televised probably won't help much either.

04-cheers

I know they are 3 different people....at least they have 3 different IP numbers on this board.
And yes, the mods can see IP's.

I may meet Gregg and Anthony up in Boise on October 15th, then I an say first hand they are different people!

I was skeptical at first, but I think writing style clearly shows SJGregg is not one of Anthony's monikers. And I doubt anyone, even wolfin1, actually thinks SJSpartansandSharks is either...it's just part of the running joke.

Nonetheless, I have no doubt Anthony has posted under many different monikers and under many different IP addresses for quite some time. However, as long as he's serious about mending his ways and stops doing stuff like that, as far as I'm concerned it's water under the bridge.

It's not like all of us don't have our own faults to work on...or in the words of Bilbo Baggins, "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

04-cheers
